The National Cancer Institute awarded investigators at 亨茨曼癌症研究所 a grant totaling more than $3 million to conduct a 临床试验 to see if combining creatine monohydrate supplementation 和 resistance exercise training helps preserve muscle in people who have metastatic 前列腺癌. Loss of muscle mass is a major side effect of treatment for 前列腺癌.
